I decided to focus on the confusing pair of "affect" and "effect" and how many tend to confuse the two. These two words are frequently used and I believe providing clarification in the form of a playful manipulative image will even encourage students to confidently use these words in essays.
I decided on my own personal photo of my brother's wedding and the tsunami background because I thought it would be eye-catching. I provided two sentences of examples, the definitions, and even a helpful hint that can easily be remembered.
